As the snow is starting to fall across Clay County, and with more expected later this week, our Highway Department is staying on top of it. Highway workers installed snow plows on the dump trucks earlier this morning.
For today, they’re wearing jackets, gloves, and hats. When the wind chills plummet later this week, our teams will be layered up with heavier protective clothing and insulated coveralls. The safety of both our employees and the citizens of Clay County is of the utmost importance.
