Good morning, folks. We are still on track for the region’s first snowfall event of the season. Snow should begin by later this evening (around 9 pm or so across the KC metro) and exit from west to east Tuesday morning. Snowfall accumulations are forecast to range from 1/2″ to as much as 3″. Across the KC metro, generally around 2″ of snow is expected.

Eric E. Frazer was arrested by Clay County Sheriff’s Office after months of evasion. The case marks Missouri’s first use of Max’s Law following an assault on police canine Argos during apprehension.
The Clay County Sheriff’s Office has launched its Wheels of Engagement trailer filled with games and activities aimed at building connections across all county communities. The initiative focuses on bringing outreach directly into neighborhoods—especially smaller towns—and encouraging positive interaction between residents and law enforcement.
The Clay County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fatal hit-and-run involving a pedestrian found on Edgar Petty Road. Detectives believe a Ford Focus from model years 2013-18 may be involved and urge anyone with information to come forward.
