Good morning, folks. We are still on track for the region’s first snowfall event of the season. Snow should begin by later this evening (around 9 pm or so across the KC metro) and exit from west to east Tuesday morning. Snowfall accumulations are forecast to range from 1/2″ to as much as 3″. Across the KC metro, generally around 2″ of snow is expected.

Clay County Sheriff’s Office investigates fatal hit-and-run on Edgar Petty Road

The Clay County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fatal hit-and-run involving a pedestrian found on Edgar Petty Road. Detectives believe a Ford Focus from model years 2013-18 may be involved and urge anyone with information to come forward.
