Former Liberty High pitcher Ronan Podhola saw action March 14 in NCAA Division II game

At 3 p.m. on Saturday, March 14, Ronan Podhola, a Liberty High alum now pitching for the Lincoln Blue Tigers, played as his team fell 15-8 to the Upper Iowa Peacocks in an NCAA Division II baseball matchup.

Vivion Field served as the venue for this contest, marking the third meeting of the season between these two teams. The Blue Tigers dropped their previous game to the Peacocks as well, 15-3, also on Saturday, March 14.

Podhola took the mound for 1.1 innings and issued one walk during his stint.

The Blue Tigers will return to Vivion Field for another matchup with the Upper Iowa Peacocks on Sunday, March 15, at 12 p.m.
