Liberty High alumnus Simon Linde plays for Butler in 27-3 loss to Wichita State

During their NCAA Division I baseball game on Thursday, March 12, at 6:05 p.m., the Butler Bulldogs, featuring former Liberty High School standout Simon Linde, were defeated 27-3 by the Wichita State Shockers.

The matchup was held at Eck Stadium and marked the teams’ first meeting of the season.

Linde surrendered four earned runs and issued five walks.

Butler is set to face the Wichita State Shockers again at Eck Stadium on Friday, March 13, at 3:05 p.m.
