46 percent of applicants to William Jewell College were admitted for fall 2018

At William Jewell College, 93 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 55 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private not-for-profit institution in Liberty enrolled 808 students in fall 2018, including 803 in undergraduate and five in graduate programs, data shows. 4.6 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

59 percent of undergraduates are residents of Missouri, and 39 percent are residents of other states. 2 percent are citizens of foreign countries.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (79 percent) and Hispanic or Latino (6 percent).

The school admitted 46 percent of the 1,316 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 28 percent enrolled.
