Clay County, Missouri Sheriff -K9 Lola and Her Handler, Crisis Intervention Team Coordinator Kim Hunter

291

We’re so proud of K9 Lola and her handler, Crisis Intervention Team Coordinator Kim Hunter. At last week’s Critical Incident Response Team K9 conference, Lola earned her national certification and good citizen ribbon. The Johnson County, KS Sheriff's Office hosted the conference, and Lola and Kim got to visit many places, including greeting soldiers at the New Century Airfield.

Lola is trained to comfort people in emotional distress. She has assisted first responders across the area, as well as school children and others.  She may now have her national Critical Incident Response Team certification, but she has always been a certified good girl.
