Heavy rains and flash flooding have impacted Excelsior Springs’ historic downtown for years. Community members have commented that key flooding impacts involve: Sustained and future property damage, economic losses, infrastructure and traffic safety issues, and other concerns. Attend the community workshop for the Fishing River Watershed Study on September 7, 2022, to discuss needs in more detail and explore potential solutions.
