It was 37 degrees out when deputies were dispatched to an 81-year-old man who'd accidentally driven off of 33 Highway and was stuck in an icy creek about 12:30 p.m. Nov. 17. The temperatures didn't stop them from jumping in to help. You'll see video here from two different deputies' body-worn cameras.
And thank you to Good Samaritan Quintin Conway, who saw the man run off the road, called 911, tried to pull him out before we arrived and then helped us pull him onto the creek's banks.
