The Daviess County Emergency Management Agency has successfully tested a new 75-kw towable generator.

EMA Director Andy Ball says the generator could power an emergency shelter at Heritage Baptist Church or the Parish Hall at Sts. Joseph & Paul Catholic Church.

The Green River Area Development District helped to secure the federal grant for the generator.
