On Sunday, Feb. 2, three former Smithville High School standouts, including Chester Brooks, George Fisher and Sam Wornson’s current college team, the Northwest Missouri State Bearcats, lost 22-2 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Regis Rangers.

The game took place at Regis Baseball Field. This was their fourth matchup against the Rangers this season.

The Bearcats’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 7 at 1 p.m. at Nadicksbernd Field against Christian Brothers Buccaneers.
