Friday, Feb. 7: Excelsior Springs High School standout Mayce Barber’s college team loses to Pittsburg State Gorillas

On Friday, Feb. 7, former Excelsior Springs High School standout Mayce Barber’s current college team, the Missouri S&T Miners, lost 10-5 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Pittsburg State Gorillas.

The game took place at Tom Heath Field at Lawson Plaza. This was their first matchup against the Gorillas this season.

The Miners’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 7 at 3 p.m. at Tom Heath Field at Lawson Plaza against Oklahoma Christian Lady Eagles.
