Jackson Helberg, former Kearney High School standout, played on Saturday, Feb. 8 in NCAA Division II baseball game

On Saturday, Feb. 8, former Kearney High School standout Jackson Helberg’s current college team, the Colorado Mesa Mavericks, won 6-4 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Cal Poly Pomona Broncos.

The game took place at Scolinos Baseball Field. This was their third matchup against the Broncos this season.

The Mavericks’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 14 at 1 p.m. at Nettleton Stadium against Chico State Wildcats.
