Smithville High School was well-represented by Chester Brooks and two former teammates now on Northwest Missouri State Bearcats during the NCAA Division II baseball game on Saturday, Feb. 8

On Saturday, Feb. 8, three former Smithville High School standouts, including Chester Brooks, George Fisher and Sam Wornson’s current college team, the Northwest Missouri State Bearcats, won 16-0 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Christian Brothers Buccaneers.

The game took place at Nadicksbernd Field. This was their third matchup against the Buccaneers this season.

The Bearcats’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 9 at 12 p.m. at Nadicksbernd Field against Christian Brothers Buccaneers.
