On Saturday, Feb. 8, former Liberty High School standout Ashton Maloney’s current college team, the Texas Longhorns, won 13-7 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Lamar Lady Cardinals.

The game took place at Lamar Softball Complex. This was their first matchup against the Lady Cardinals this season.

The Longhorns’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 8 at 6 p.m. at Lamar Softball Complex against Lamar Lady Cardinals.
