Smithville High School standout Makaela Carr’s college team won in NCAA Division I softball game on Sunday, Feb. 9

On Sunday, Feb. 9, former Smithville High School standout Makaela Carr’s current college team, the North Dakota Fighting Hawks, won 6-4 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Drake Bulldogs.

The game took place at UNI-Dome. This was their second matchup against the Bulldogs this season.

The Fighting Hawks’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 14 at 10:30 a.m. at Alberta B. Farrington Softball Stadium against Oregon Ducks.
