On Friday, Feb. 14, former Liberty High School standout Ashton Maloney’s college team won in an NCAA Division I softball game

On Friday, Feb. 14, former Liberty High School standout Ashton Maloney’s current college team, the Texas Longhorns, won 2-1 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Texas Tech Lady Raiders.

The game took place at Red & Charline McCombs Field. This was their first matchup against the Lady Raiders this season.

The Longhorns’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 15 at 4 p.m. at Red & Charline McCombs Field against UMass Minutewomen.
