Liberty High School standout Sydney Malott’s college team lost in NCAA Division I softball game on Friday, Feb. 28

On Friday, Feb. 28, former Liberty High School standout Sydney Malott’s current college team, the Iowa State Cyclones, lost 9-3 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Southeastern Louisiana Lady Lions.

The game took place at Youngsville Sports Complex. This was their first matchup against the Lady Lions this season.

The Cyclones’ next game is scheduled for Friday, April 11 at 12 p.m. at Cowgirl Stadium against Oklahoma State Cowgirls.
