Ashton Maloney, former Liberty High School standout’s collegiate team plays on Friday, May 16 in the NCAA Division I Softball Championship

On Friday, May 16, former Liberty High School standout Ashton Maloney’s current collegiate team the Texas Longhorns lost 10-2 against the Eastern Illinois Panthers in the NCAA Division I Softball Championship.

The game took place at Red & Charline McCombs Field at 3:55 p.m. and was the first matchup against the Eastern Illinois Panthers in the tournament.

The Texas Longhorns’ next game will take place on Saturday, May 17 at 12:05 p.m. at Red & Charline McCombs Field.
