Ashton Maloney, former Liberty High School standout, played on Sunday, March 2 in NCAA Division I softball game

On Sunday, March 2, former Liberty High School standout Ashton Maloney’s current college team, the Texas Longhorns, won 8-0 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Alabama A&M Lady Bulldogs.

The game took place at Red & Charline McCombs Field. This was their first matchup against the Lady Bulldogs this season.

The Longhorns’ next game is scheduled for Wednesday, March 5 at 6 p.m. at Red & Charline McCombs Field against Baylor Lady Bears.
