On Saturday, April 19, former Smithville High School standout Makaela Carr’s current college team, the North Dakota Fighting Hawks, lost 4-2 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the St. Thomas Tommies.

The game took place at Albrecht Field. This was their third matchup against the Tommies this season.

The Fighting Hawks’ next game is scheduled for Thursday, April 24 at 5 p.m. at Albrecht Field against Minnesota Crookston Golden Eagles.
