Saturday, April 26: Smithville High School standout Makaela Carr’s college team loses to Minnesota Golden Gophers

On Saturday, April 26, former Smithville High School standout Makaela Carr’s current college team, the North Dakota Fighting Hawks, lost 5-3 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Minnesota Golden Gophers.

The game took place at Jane Sage Cowles Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Golden Gophers this season.

The Fighting Hawks’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, April 27 at 12 p.m. at Jane Sage Cowles Stadium against Minnesota Golden Gophers.
