Smithville High School was well-represented by Chester Brooks and two former teammates now on Northwest Missouri State Bearcats during the NCAA Division II baseball game on Thursday, Feb. 27

On Thursday, Feb. 27, three former Smithville High School standouts, including Chester Brooks, George Fisher and Sam Wornson’s current college team, the Northwest Missouri State Bearcats, won 6-3 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Concordia Golden Bears.

The game took place at Bearcat Baseball Field. This was their first matchup against the Golden Bears this season.

The Bearcats’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 28 at 2 p.m. at Bearcat Baseball Field against Concordia Golden Bears.
