On Saturday, March 1, former Kearney High School standout Jackson Helberg’s current college team, the Colorado Mesa Mavericks, lost 5-1 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Montana State Billings Yellowjackets.

The game took place at The Diamond at The Bus Bergman Sports Complex. This was their fourth matchup against the Yellowjackets this season.

The Mavericks’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 7 at 2 p.m. at Brandt Field against New Mexico Highlands Cowboys.
