On Wednesday, March 26, three former Smithville High School standouts, including Chester Brooks, George Fisher and Sam Wornson’s current college team, the Northwest Missouri State Bearcats, lost 4-0 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Missouri Western Griffons.

The game took place at Griffon Baseball Field. This was their first matchup against the Griffons this season.

The Bearcats’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 28 at 3 p.m. at Bearcat Baseball Field against Rogers State Hillcats.
