On Friday, April 4, Smithville High School standouts, including Chester Brooks, competed in an NCAA Division II baseball game for Northwest Missouri State Bearcats

On Friday, April 4, three former Smithville High School standouts, including Chester Brooks, George Fisher and Sam Wornson’s current college team, the Northwest Missouri State Bearcats, won 14-2 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Northeastern State Riverhawks.

The game took place at Rousey Field. This was their first matchup against the Riverhawks this season.

The Bearcats’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, April 5 at 5 p.m. at Rousey Field against Northeastern State Riverhawks.
