On Sunday, Feb. 16, former Liberty High School standout Ashton Maloney’s current college team, the Texas Longhorns, won 11-0 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Texas Tech Lady Raiders.

The game took place at Red & Charline McCombs Field. This was their second matchup against the Lady Raiders this season.

The Longhorns’ next game is scheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 19 at 7 p.m. at Red & Charline McCombs Field against Akron Zips.
