96 percent of applicants to Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary were admitted for fall 2018

At Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, 57 percent of undergraduate students are nontraditional students - age 25 or older - and 74 percent are male, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private not-for-profit institution in Kansas City enrolled 2,797 students in fall 2018, including 592 in undergraduate and 2,205 in graduate programs, data shows. 21.6 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

26 percent of undergraduates are residents of Missouri, and 74 percent are residents of other states.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (76 percent) and Black or African American (7 percent).

The school admitted 96 percent of the 114 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 82 percent enrolled.
