Cost of college went up for all students at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary

Tuition and fees rose 1.4 percent for 2018-19 at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Missouri students paid $7,920 to attend the four-year private not-for-profit institution this year – $110 more than the $7,810 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 96 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 18 students received grants or scholarships totaling $153,700 and 14 students took out student loans totaling more than $106,587.

Including all undergraduates (2,797), 253 students used grants or scholarships totaling $1 million, and 177 students took out $1.3 million in federal student loans.
